TN Art Yard Expands to Hendersonville with New Brick-and-Mortar Location

Hendersonville families looking for a creative outlet for their children are in for a treat! TN Art Yard, a beloved arts-based play space, is opening its second brick-and-mortar location. The grand opening is set for March 10, 2025, bringing a unique, hands-on experience to local kids.

From Backyard Beginnings to Thriving Business

TN Art Yard began as a backyard venture in Thompson Station, founded by Lacy Ezell, who had a passion for creating an engaging and artistic environment for children. Seeing the success of her program, she hired Whitney Elliott to launch a similar backyard program in Hendersonville. As demand grew, Lacy transitioned TN Art Yard into a dedicated brick and mortar indoor space—and it flourished.

Now, Whitney is following suit, taking her Hendersonville program from her backyard to a brand-new brick-and-mortar location, making TN Art Yard more accessible to local families in Hendersonville.

A Creative Hub for Kids

The new Hendersonville location will offer a variety of exciting programs designed to inspire creativity and play:

  • Open Play: Monday through Friday, 9 AM - 12 PM
  • Mommy & Me Playgroup: For children ages 1-4
  • Art Club: A drop-off program for children ages 4-6
  • Friday Homeschool Day: Special activities tailored for homeschool families
  • Summer Camps: Fun, hands-on programs throughout the summer

In addition to these regular offerings, TN Art Yard will rent out its space on Saturdays for birthday parties, accommodating 25-30 guests.

Grand Opening - March 10th

During the first week (March 10-15), attendance will be reservation-only to help ensure a smooth transition into the new space. Starting March 17, walk-ins will be welcome for Open Play and other programs.

With its expansion, TN Art Yard is set to become a go-to destination for local families, providing a welcoming space where children can imagine, create, and play.
